Women of the ELCA

The women of St. Martin's invite you to join them for fellowship and service in Jesus' Name!  We meet every month on the second Thursday of the month, usually at a member's home.  There we have a Bible study, discussion, and light refreshments.  All women of the church and their guests are welcome to join us!

St. Martin's WELCA is also the host to St. Martin's annual Fall (Beef and Pork) Supper.  This is the women's only fund-raising event throughout the year through which we are able to help offset the cost of the annual church insurance premium, as well as send our youth to Leadership Training School, support  Down River Helping Hands, the Down River Bread of Life Nutrition Center, and other local non-profit organizations.  2015 is our nintiethyear of hosting this wonderful dinnner--thanks be to God!  We are so grateful to God and to the community for their ongoing support of this dinner.  If you would like to help out with this year's Supper, please speak with Carol Joyner or Jill Meldrum.
